Tasks consisted of producing and maintaining the consumer facing US Open player library micro website. I curated and uploaded all biographies and photos of the participating players into the USTA website backend (IBM) database. I also managed editorial updates to “plan your visit” and US Open merchandise store among other sections of US Open website.

Role consisted of pitching and refining ideas for social media posts regarding signed authentic sports memorabilia. I figured out how to create traffic for these products on Instagram in order to guide viewers to the website for purchase. I also wrote strategic sales and marketing emails to secure strategic partners with a focus on high profile nonprofits. I created a large excel database of charitable events and organizations that were holding events throughout this year in hopes of creating a relationship and partner for their events.

I was in charge of communicating with coaches/athletes from local sports teams to inform them of practice and work-out schedules. I also helped create Instagram posts for participating athletes who turned professional to promote the success of SportPerformanceU. I conducted marketing research and documented area teams and sporting goods stores to facilitate adding clients during a headquarters relocation. I edited the company website to adjust for office relocation and added a new page dedicated to corporate fitness as well. I developed and designed promotional videos to increase awareness of company services on the website.

I was given the task of database research and collecting various information regarding companies and sports teams. My job consisted of collecting senior executive contacts from multiple companies in order to help get potential partnerships with athletes. I also paired certain companies and brands with football teams based on their locations and convenience near the respective stadiums. I researched ad agencies that have clients that are relative to sports and created a list of all the agencies and clients. All of this data collected was inputted into an Excel document.

Mount Kisco, Ny

I was in charge of supervising and counseling different age groups from kindergartners to fourth graders over the course of my five years working Camp Iroquois. My job as head counselor consisted of leading a group of usually fifteen kids through daily activities Monday-Friday. I would assist lifeguards with swimming lessons for the kids helping learn how to properly swim along with resolving any issues between campers if they were present (consequences were explained). I would also facilitate sports activities for my group making sure they all participate and stay active. When off camp ground trips were taken, I chaperoned my group on multiple field trips and explained important information each parent of the child about the trips.

I was in charge of promoting and marketing a charity lacrosse tournament for Laxin4Tony. It is a charity made in honor of a former lacrosse player who unfortunately became paralyzed while playing. My job consisted of utilizing multiple marketing methods in order for this event to gain attention and awareness. One method was me making social media announcements and sharing any information about this event on multiple social media platforms. Another method utilized was putting signs around my town in the ground and placing fliers in my school along with public posting boards in town as well. I then had to write a press release explaining and promoting this event then review it with my boss. From there, once the event began, I handled the cashiering for food and merchandise for the event.
