I have extensive analytical experience through both my internships and extracurricular activities that I have participated in. I have participated in the 2023 SABR Diamond Dollars Case Competition where a team of myself and four other students created a metric that quantified the effect of missed strike/ball calls on the final score of a game. I have also participated in the 2024 National Collegiate Sport Analytics Championship where a team of myself and three other students were the first place team. I was ranked third out of all the participating students in the Preliminary round and 11th in the final round. For each round, we were given a dataset and asked to create a 5 minute presentation with actionable insights in a given amount of time (2 days for the preliminary and 4 hours for the final). With that said, I believe that I can use all of the experience and practice that I have gained to become a strong asset to any organization that I would potentially work for in the future.
