Army Officer (1-112 Cav)
Houston, Texas Area
During my deployment to Egypt as part of the Multi National Forces and Observers (MFO). I was the lead Duty Investigator on over 40 potential Treaty of Peace investigations, which encompassed over 10 alleged violations between Israel and Egypt. I was assigned as the designated aircraft violation investigator, completed three highly dynamic and complex aircraft investigations within one week, and was lauded by the legal counsel for timely, detailed and clear products. I was the commander of the entire Northern Sector of the US Area of Operations, which had 60 personnel, 4 remote sites, and over $3 million in equipment, I ensured force protection upgrades were implemented across the sector and operating procedures were refined. I developed remote site common operational graphics, which provided the MFO with a tool for MEDEVAC, reinforcement, and egress operations. I also planned, coordinated, and executed troop, platoon, and remote site training events. I planned the Troop’s buddy team live fire exercise, and assisted in planning the Troop’s team live fire exercise, and marksmanship ranges. I ensured MFO vehicle recognition, MFO Battle Drills, and reconnaissance collective tasks were trained at remote sites. I planned, coordinated, and executed four major Troop training events that culminated with a team live fire, I fostered a tactical mind set required by Task Force Sinai and MFO senior leaders. I implemented a Troop vehicle recognition training program that raised vehicle recognition scores 150% and ensured Troopers met MFO standards of preparedness. In garrison (Monthly drills/2 week Annual Training), I am in charge of a platoon of 30 soldiers, assistant operations officer, and also the Fire Directions Officer for the Fire Direction Center.
