My role as Director is to oversee the daily running of the charity. Increasing awareness and funding for our flagship international scholarship fund and over 20 other international development projects that are focused on our mission.

East Midlands

A new role created for the East Midlands. Responsibilities included managing change and the account managers for the East Midlands. Tasks included building relationships with all contract commissioners in the East Midlands, training the team and implementing systems and policies to ensure projects could be carried out on-time and to the highest standard. The role also included researching, drafting and pitching for new work within the East Midlands youth sector.

Islington

Brought in to develop the London operations and deliver the Youth Council tender for Islington borough council. This role included managing flash mobs, marketing campaigns to recruit young people to run for the first youth council and the being a mentor for the youth candidates throughout their campaign, running training sessions, mentoring sessions and online support for all candidates and their campaign teams until one was successful elected.
