Privyr is a mobile CRM built for sales professionals who run their businesses from their phone. My primary responsibility is to develop the desktop version of their CRM platform.

At Intrepid Travel, where I lead a team of developers, we utilize Vagrant and Puppet for virtual environments and infrastructure automation in our local developments. Our servers run on nginx, which are hosted on AWS. We use Varnish, Memcache and section.io to handle CDNs for us, which lies between the client and the AWS instance. Although at one time we used Phing runners for our deployments, we later switched to Rocketeer and then Continuous deployment, which makes deployment to different environments easier.Cypress and PHPUnit are being used for End-to-End, Intergration and Functional testing. Azure and Travis CI are used to ensure a solid continuous integration.We practice Agile Scrum in our development as our teams are made up of developers from Melbourne and Colombo.

A remarkably educational period spanning 4 years during which I took over the entire development section of the Digital arm of the Omnicom Media Group – Sri Lanka. As a renowned Media and Advertising agency in Sri Lanka, OMG’s portfolio boasted a number of various clients such as Sri Lanka Telecom, AIA Insurance, Ceylon Agro Industries and Fashion Bug.During my tenure at OMG I undertook many Web (Front-end and Back-end), Game (Web and Mobile) and App Development projects.
