Facilitated feasibility and continuous improvement studies for off-line sub-assembly of vehicle components, utilizing AutoCAD and cost benefit analysis to optimize supply chain logistics for shipping parts to the main line consequently eliminating the need for additional 560 sq. ft. of floor space on the assembly lineConducted simulations for the final vehicle assembly line using Simul8 and Flexsim software to incorporate new incoming parts for the 2023 model with minimal floor space, resulting in an optimized floor plan.Validated vehicle parts on DELMIA and Designed part containers in Siemens NX to ensure correct floor space was assigned and correct material handling equipment was used for streamlined integration of parts into the main assembly line.
