As a Software Quality Engineer at Gigaset, my primary focus has been on enhancing the quality and reliability of web applications through testing strategies and quality assurance methodologies within an agile development context. I am designing and implementing QA automation frameworks that leverage Selenium, alongside Python and pytest for scripting and test execution. This approach allows for the meticulous verification of web functionalities, ensuring that they meet our stringent quality standards.In addition to my automation tasks, I also engage in manual testing activities. This ensures a comprehensive testing coverage by complementing automated tests with human insight and intuition, especially in areas where automation might not be effective.

During my internship, I focused on acquiring and applying fundamental QA methodologies and tools across various stages of the software development lifecycle. I was involved in developing and executing test cases for company applications. A significant part of my role was dedicated to taking my first steps into the realm of test automation, where I began to learn and apply basic principles of automating tests for mobile platforms and web applications. My responsibilities also included manual testing, which allowed me to gain experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using JIRA.These initial steps in automation, coupled with my manual testing work, sharpened my skills in agile testing, software quality assurance, and teamwork.
