• Undertaking site inspections that include; site scoping visits for site selection. design visits and measurements for Details design, Internal equipment audits, structural engineering surveys, EME points of interest measurements, zero harm and site quality audits.• Developing and maintaining a thorough technical knowledge of client antenna, feeder systems, base station components and site facilities.• To identify site hazards during site inspections and to engineer out or mitigate all risks during the design process.• Collaborating with Structural, Electrical, RF, MTX, and Deployment engineers to effectively coordinate and prepare all elements of preliminary and detailed designs. Assisting with the engagement of 3rd party engineering consultants including but not limited to: Geo-tech, surveyors, 3rd party structural, Electricians to undertaken PVAs & Level 3 network design.• Developing and then Demonstrating, understanding of related non- engineering disciplines related to project delvery primilarly relating to Site Acquisition and Town Planning. Expected to also assist with technical and design related queries where possible• Preparing EME F01 & F02 compliance documentation including EMI identification in accordance with client and industry standards and arrange sign off by RF.• Preparing and undertaking civil engineering designs elements related to compound design including but not limited to access track design, site draining, earthworks, retaining walls.• Preparing Detail design of equipment mounts, selection of headframes and structures for structural engineering certification by Principal engineers• Collaborating with wider design team to undertake Downer and Client Design quality assurance processes and undertake and implement safety in design review back into the detailed design.• Arranging and collaborate with Deployment team to undertake constructability reviews. Ensure that all sites are designed in accordance with Safety in Design process.
