Responsible for the design and development of a European project called “SimSafety – Flight Simulator for Internet Safety”, a 3D game introducing 9 - 11 year old pupils to Internet risks.• Game was developed on OpenSimulator platform (http://opensimulator.org).• OpenSimulator is written in C#, so C# was used for all the custom built modules.• Game portal displaying & presenting game data was developed on Drupal (PHP, MySQL).

Responsible for the re-design of an obsolete information system which used to support various online teacher applications (deputy, hourly and permanent teacher assignments, principal applications, counselor applications, etc.) and teacher allocations based on their preferences.This work resulted in developing and implementing the following:• Web interface using PHP and Smarty template engine• Java Back-end using Apache Tomcat and Apache velocity template engine• Oracle database setup and administration

I designed and developed the Greek School Network helpdesk ticketing system, which is currently in use. It was developed from scratch to support multiple user levels, multiple technician specialties as well as regional grouping and user responsibilities and roles.• Frontend is PHP based using JavaScript, CSS for styling.• Database is MySQL.

Responsible for the design and implementation of the Cisco based network of the institute (a class B network with about 300 hosts at that time). I implemented various services on Cisco devices including firewall, IDS, transparent proxy, call-manager, etc.
