Since I was little, I have always dreamt of having a job tied to a greater purpose. Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to learn from and experience the work of incredible non-profit organizations such as The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Caritas Internationalis, Compassion Canada, The Scott Mission, and Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in a diversity of roles as a professional and also as a volunteer. These experiences have provided me with skills in Business Development, Improvement and Implementation, Leadership, Stakeholder Relationships Management, Operational Management, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning, Marketing & Communications, Logistics, and Public Relations. Regarding my academic qualifications, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Linguistics from the Catholic University of Ecuador, a Non-profit and Voluntary Sector Management certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson University), a postgraduate certificate in Global Business Management from Centennial College, and an International Logistics Certificate from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association. My goal is to use those skills and learning opportunities to serve and positively impact the lives of people all over the world by following my passion in the non-profit sector.
