A Partner and head of the Employment Team at Prettys Solicitors LLP.I chose Prettys to progress my career because of the relationships the firm builds with its clients. The size of the firm and Partner led advice means that I can work closely with HR Business Partners and Directors, they can rely on me to support them in their role and I enjoy the close collaboration. I was very happy to be appointed head of the Employment Team in 2019. My client base is varied, with particular experience in hospitality and retail, and I work with some large multi-brand retailers nationally.As well as advising clients on all aspects of employment law, I have expertise and a strong reputation in conducting investigations for clients in complex grievance or disciplinary cases. I act as an external investigator, conducting thorough investigations in a confidential and sensitive manner. I prepare comprehensive and robust reports for clients which provides them with a clear direction as to next steps for them to take.The Prettys Business Academy is for clients and part of the Academy is tailored to HR. We actively encourage whole HR teams to come along to our training events and seminars.
