I have worked in the Human Resource field for over thirteen years. I know that effective communication and good people skills are essential assets to be successful in a Human Resources field. I have developed and honed my communication and people-skills. In the Human Resources field I have been responsible for processing various forms and documents for new hires; entering data into the corporate database and securing all information in a confidential filing system. I assisted HR staff in performing highly technical tasks related to many vital human resources functions. I processed new-hire paperwork for benefits and maintained employee leaves including sick time and vacation. I assisted in processing workers’ compensation claims and answered questions on a variety of complex benefits topics. I helped process a variety of documents such as pay claims, overtime, and payroll action forms for pay docks EDD forms and assisted with background checks. I understand that attention to detail, respect for accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality is imperative for the integrity of Human Resources. While relating to everyone with a cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude has been central to my success in all of my former positions.
