My first job was at a phone carrier store - I thought of myself as being an OK sales person, as I was too honest to people when it came to choosing a phone model or plan; and I saw the "monthly goal" board as my absolute nemesis. Now, looking into retrospective, I can see that I cared too much about people, and thay is why I excel at Customer Service & Hospitality. I consider myself a nerd, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that; I love numbers, and find myself finding the path to a solution challenging and exhilarating - like I said, I am a nerd. Human connection is also what drives me, that shows in my career path, past jobs revolve around it, like when I worked at Gap (I also like clothes very much!). One of my biggest accomplishments while being there was making everyone feel understood, and it translated to most customers trusting me when I would talk about the benefits of a Gap credit card - I, myself as a first generation immigrant, started building my credit with them, and I wanted to share with the world how it worked - to start setting the building blocks towards the American Dream. I was able to connect, relate, and above all, make my customers feel like we were family. I could go on on writing, as I do enjoy it very much. It is how I express myself best, as I learned English as a Second Language back when I was 15 years old, writing was and still is my best friend. I find that photography is one of 3 major hobbies I have - going to the beach, and reading are my other 2. These past three years I have explored the Hospitality umbrella finally, I graduated High School under that program, the future is funny like that sometimes! I started as a host and then stepped up as coordinator in one of Naples' iconic Third Street restaurants - Campiello, "famiglia" became engraved in my every day doings. As I learned my way through fine dining, it led me to be part of a great gem - Ocean Prime, a Cameron Mitchell Restaurant location on one of the busiests avenues, Fifth Avenue in Downtown Naples, as their Guest/Host Services Coordinator aka Maître d', their phillosophy "Yes, is The Answer, What is The Question" and the Milkshake Story would be what guides me today in my latest venture with O'Reilly Hospitality Management very fist location in Florida, Fairfield by Marriott Bonita Springs, as Sales Coordinator. Every position, every job, and every person I have met has led me here. I would not live my life another way. Having a passion for what you do, and caring for others is the Key to be successful.
