I was the founding President of the American Marketing Association chapter at Montana State University. We founded the chapter in January of 2016 and we worked hard to develop innovative professionals in a community oriented environment by providing opportunities, fostering leadership, and growing an efficient global network. As our first official year as a chapter, we were able to accomplish this goal and more by placing in the top 25 chapters out of more than 400 chapters internationally. My time as President of the AMA at Montana State was some of the best of my college career, helping me to advance beyond the classroom, professionally and personally, with real experience I will take into my professional career.

I started my internship in April of 2016. During my time at PFL, my greatest accomplishment was helping plan the first ever Big Sky: Big Ideas technology summit. For the summit, I was in charge of external communication geared toward prospective event attendees, registration (before and during the event), communication with sponsors, aid in setting up and tearing down the event, as well as social media surrounding the summit. Currently I manage PFL's five social media platforms and help create content for those platforms. Writing, data entry and validation, as well as an introduction to the Marketo platform have also been additional duties of my internship.

Assisted Marketing Director in daily duties. Attended weekly marketing meetings with Principals and Project Managers to discuss current and future project opportunities. Assisted in the organization of yearly company picnic. Kept firm’s Intranet site up-to-date. Researched potential project opportunities for the company. Created database for PM’s to contact potential clients. Participated in company volunteer efforts.
