Responsible for the strategy definition and development of efficient Procurement/Inventory Management Standards and Systems:- Defined and project managed the Procurement Global Business Intelligence tool (SAP BO) project, coordinating its implementation with 7 different IT service centers worldwide- Responsible for the non-SAP Procurement application for Savings Initiatives tracking. Defined the appropriate delivery strategy for the application taking into account demand, technical characteristics, quality and rollout.Drive the objectives and be the custodian of Procurement Master Data standards and systems including policy setting, related procedures and guidelines:- Designed the improved version of the internal Material & Services classification standard, including implementation roadmap- Coordinated the global definition of Material and service master data attributes and supported its implementation- Responsible for the internal Material and services classification system mapping with International standardsProvided training to Procurement Business Process Owners (BPO) in Master Data standards and systems.

Managed the Global Material Master Data project for all MRO materials worldwide (Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, UK, South Africa and Canada) implementing UNSPSC.Acted as Global Purchasing Representative, supporting CPO and acting as a pro-active influence in all the Global Purchasing projects. Trained key users and purchasing managers in the implementation of changes guaranteeing the right deployment of the projects in order to improve purchasing processes and its standardization. Active member in international projects in the areas of Purchasing, Materials Management, Spend analysis and Maintenance management.Performed cost analysis and process optimization and defined scorecards and reports in the area of Procurement and Materials management. SAP-MM implementation in Global Procurement, supporting onsite the roll-outs of the Project in Portugal, Spain and France. Managed the same Project in Germany. Responsible for the characterization and codification of all products that were purchased globally at Sonae Indústria Group. Supported the Negotiation, Procurement and follow up of the contracts and agreements made with Global suppliers. Supported and coordinated the work of Plant Purchasers.

Responsible for the purchase and stock management of raw material

Studied the costs of packaging vs. industrial cost, improvement opportunities in the warehouses and created a database for controlling transportation costs.
