My job as an Instagram Ambassador is to strengthen the community between the company and its users via surveys, direct message groups, and focus groups. I also partner with the Instagram Marketing team to help shape the future of the Instagram brand and product. I do this by testing out new features before they launch and giving the feedback to the product teams.

As a social media specialist at Deco Gear, I administer and schedule all the content that gets posted across the company's Instagram. I also brainstorm content for TikTok and am learning how to create and manage Facebook ad campaigns.

As a writer at Miscalcul[Asian], I write articles on the Asian and Asian-Pacific Islander narratives and their impacts on culture and media. I specialize in writing about the arts, such as music and film. These articles are published on the website, the Miscalcul[Asian] Instagram, or in the quarterly issues of the magazine.

For this internship, I worked with one other person to curate social media posts to advertise the company's services. We worked out a posting schedule and utilized Instagram's analytic tools to maximize audience engagement.
