As an arcade attendent, the main responsibilities are to provide customers with a fun and safe entertainment experience. By doing that I must properly articulate the services we provide and provide for any accommodations to make their experience better. I must also use and maintain sensitive electrical equipment, make sure the area is clean, and be attentive to any customer needs. Time management and conflict resolution is a must as there will be conflicting times, events, and unexpected obstacles throughout the day. If a customer has never been to the arcade, I am to verbally sell the services that we provide and direct them to the locations in which they can purchase the services. First aid comes in hand whenever a guest has an accident or is hurt in any physical way.

The challenge course is a section of the Outdoor Adventure Center of the University of Central Florida. During my employment, I would lead groups of 7-20 individuals in which I would facilitate team building exercises and activities. I would be in charge of the groups ranging from 2-4 hours, often creating an agenda depending on the type of group and their motivation to partake in the activities. I also had many instances of conflict resolution, first aid treatment, time management, and rescuing participants. At the challenge course there were two sides of operations. The low elements section which included team building, trust exercises, and activities that groups would complete on ground level. The high ropes section was a 30-45 foot obstacle course made of wood, ropes, and wires in which I would guide participants in groups of 4 through. It would usually end in them zip lining to the ground, if they did not get scared and needed to be lowered from the platforms. This position required a lot of laborous work, safety and equipment knowledge, and the ability to perform effectively and efficiently during high stress situations.
