Process incoming referrals, create electronic patient records, enter data into same, scan records into same, verify health insurance, verify payable diagnosis & need for authorization for testing; contact patient, schedule appointment appropriately, sorting by diagnosis for md, & office location as needed, print necessary paperwork & mail to patient, fax back information to referring md, track referral recalls & see that they are calld again, & if they cannot then be scheduled, mail letters to patient & fax to referring md
