Veronica Green completed Master’s of Science in Transportation Planning and Management at Texas Southern University. She was active member of campus organizations such as the Institute for Transportation Engineers, Intelligent Transportation Systems-TSU and the Ford Sustainability Project Team. In 2012 she was awarded FHWA’s Dwight Eisenhower scholarship for graduate students in Transportation. She is currently employed as a Graduate Research Assistant at TSU’s renowned Center for Transportation Training and Research, where her research focusesd on intercity travel demand, hazardous material incident management and transit oriented design. She remains connected to the Transportation industry through speaking and training events with Houston Women in Highway Construction and a variety of conference presentationsPrior to attending Texas Southern University Ms. Green worked in Fleet and Operations Management where she excelled in the development of Standard Operating Procedures, Expenditure Reductions and Training and Development. She was employed with businesses within the Port of Houston in the logistics management of a Trucking Department, the Traffic Management Center at GA Department of Transportation and a Fortune 500 Transportation company. Ms. Green is dedicated to the sustainability and emerging technology in the Transportation industry.
