• Performs HR supervisor responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, discipline and addressing complaints and resolving problems.• Plans and directs work activities of all assigned personnel; ensures that activities assigned are completed in an effective manner.• Establishes or assists in establishing guidelines on procedures, methods and other work changes; implements procedures as required.• Monitors expenses and revenues to keep within budgetary perimeters; assists in the development of the department’s budget.• Receives, maintains, and processes adoptions, appeals, and civil law suits.• Maintains and determines disposition of all records with adoptions and appeals.• Makes decisions regarding work and various types of records requiring the use of independent judgment.• Provides caseload for Courtroom Clerks in processing the docket of each Chancellor.• Examines compiles and finalizes information on all appeals to the State of Tennessee Appellant Court.• Works with Attorneys in preparing appeal files and finalizing to the State of Tennessee.
