Developed the D&I strategy, oversaw the program and drove measurable results in partnership with all HR functions.  Helped create iD Tech’s BLM statement in wake of George Floyd/BLM protests.  Gained Salesforce to sponsor 150 students, including laptops, for summer 2020 camps (virtual tech camps).  Contributed to the 40% increase of diversity hires to the company and camp attendees for Coding and Engineering Camps in the NoVA/DC. 15% increase in female hires and a 20% increase in minority hires at director level.  Attended 3+ D&I focused events per month for corporate networking and career fair focused.  Updated content of Attendee Participation Agreement and department job descriptions with language that is inclusive.  Facilitated onsite trainings and webinars on Legal Interviewing Questions.  Audited all business units on hiring practices and sourcing strategies for URMs, as well as retaining plans of action. Co-managed the Diversity Network Association (DNA) Group.  Fostered relationships with African-American computer science professors at UNCG and NCA&T to recruit students to work at our summer camps as instructors.  Employee Relations and investigations including cultural sensitivity training design and delivery. Sponsorship / event planning for quarterly events.

Executed various S.T.E.M. initiatives with community partners to influence careers within the industry. The D&I Educators Committee continuously worked to improve hiring initiatives to fully align with governance models.  Served as chairwoman of the From Classroom to Corporate Program, which focused on setting internships and experiences for students to participate in corporate sponsored events geared to educate on future career opportunities.  Led initiatives in support of the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity.  Conducted monthly “Fireside Chats” to discuss best practices and solutions for providing a better inclusive environment for LBGTQ staff and students.  Coordinated college tours with HBCU’s nationwide which were designed to encourage attendance.  Introduced social and soft skill trainings facilitated by minority professionals volunteering on a monthly basis.
