About Vincent Vuong

As a recent graduate of York University with a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, I am passionate about transportation, municipal engineering, and project coordination. I have gained valuable skills and experience in these domains through my academic projects and extracurricular activities.One of my most recent and impactful roles was Orientation Chair at York University, where I designed and coordinated a 9-day orientation for approximately 250 incoming engineering students. I led the hiring process and training programming for 70+ volunteers, developing their roles and responsibilities. I also organized the resource and space procurement, logistics, and risk assessment of each event within a specified budget. Through these experiences, I have developed core competencies in leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. I am eager to apply these skills to new challenges and opportunities in the engineering field.
