After a rigorous application and assessment process, I was selected to be Lloyds Scholar. The Lloyds Banking Group Scholar programme encourages volunteering, pairs each student with a mentor from the business and gives students the opportunity to complete up to two summer internships.

During this internship I have worked within Group Transformation to deliver a subject area model of the data architecture within a value stream. I have had to manage my own deadlines and report directly to stakeholders. During this time I also participated in a charity challenge fundraising and raising awareness of the Group's charity partner Mental Health UK.

I completed a 10 week long summer internship with Lloyds Banking Group. I worked within Group Corporate Affairs to support the leadership team of Lloyds Scholars, a unique social mobility programme. During this time I was instrumental in delivering the redesign of the Lloyds Scholars website and organising the graduation event. I had to manage my own task deadlines and manage stakeholders to ensure work was delivered on time. During my time with the bank I was the team leader of a charity challenge to raise money for BBC Children in Need, I was really please that my team managed to raise over £3,000.

I have worked as a tutor for many years, mainly teaching GCSE Mathematics and also some Science tuition. I create tailored programmes for my students to help them succeed and achieve their full potential in end of year exams, as well as helping them to develop a love and appreciation for the subject.

I worked at M&S Foodhall during the busy Christmas period, I helped restock the shelves and help customers find what they were looking for as well as being fully till trained and trained in how to properly record and dispose of unsuitable items.

I worked as a Christmas temp at the Disney Store in Bromley. I served customers, worked on the tills and restocked the shelves. This was my first customer service job, I learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
