As the QHSE Manager I oversee the workshop, test and field service operations of servicing, overhauling, testing and installation of Gas Turbines. I work closely with a number of internal customers including the operational departments but also the Commercial and Project Management Teams as well as with the Corporate Teams across both the East & Wrst hemispheres. I also oversee the Training & Competency provisions for all staff. I manage both the internal & supplier audits, aswell as regulatory and customer audits.

As the HSEQ Advisor of a hydrocarbon terminal and storage facility one of my main repsonsibilities is to ensure legal compliance with COMAH and DSEAR which involves laising regularly with HSE and SEPA. I regularly attend industry meetings to ensure best practises are being adopted within ASCO and share incident corrective actions to similar terminal operators. The aspect of my role that I thrive upon is Accident/Incident Investiation through Root Cause Analysis and ensuring the corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner to minimise the likelhood of a similar incident occurring.
