Participate on the Rail~Volution National Steering Committee.Project Manager of the Transit Design Team for TriMet’s Southwest Corridor Light Rail Preliminary Design Project, a 12-mile light rail extension from downtown Portland to Tualatin. The Transit Design Team is a joint venture comprised of three A&E firms. The Transit Design Team has grown to include 40 subconsultant design firms. The team works closely with all the regional partners on this complex expansion of TriMet’s transit system that integrates multi-modal improvements into a dense urban corridor.

Responsible for DEA’s Orgon region transit pursuits and business development, coordination with other regional BD managers on interoffice or multi-discipline mega pursuits. Provided key roles on major multi-discipline transit projects including:• Project Manager for the Conceptual Design phase of TriMet’s Southwest Corridor Light Rail Project, this $2 billion, 12-mile light rail extension project from downtown Portland to the City of Tualatin.• Project Manager for the East Segment of TriMet’s Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Project (Orange Line). Early responsibilities focused on managing the coordination between the final design team and the CMGC. Transitioned to Project Manager for the design services during construction and the start of revenue service.• Consultant Transit Project Manager for the $850 million light rail portion of this bi-state $3 billion multi-modal Columbia River Crossing (CRC) Project. The preliminary design phase included development of 14 preliminary engineering packages including Design-build, GCCM and low-bid delivery methods. Transit elements were contained in 11-14 of the packages. Also worked alongside TriMet to manage a multi-agency team to develop the comprehensive FTA New Starts submittal and ensure all the documents met FTA guidelines and expectations on this very high-profile project.• Deputy Design Project Manager on the Design-Build Team for TriMet’s Green Line Project. The project was a 6.5-mile light rail extension along ODOT’s I-205 corridor.

Held three different leadership roles during my time at TriMet• Engineering Services Manager – Managed the in-house engineering services group that supported both the maintenance and capital improvement projects for the bus and rail divisions, including system expansion projects.• Project Integration Manager - Provided a key interface between TriMet’s project team and TriMet’s Operations and Maintenance departments for the 5.8-mile Interstate MAX LRT Extension Project (Yellow Line) during construction thru start-up and operations.• Design and Construction Manager for TriMet’s Airport Max Extension (Red Line). The $125 million, 5.5-mile light rail extension project. This project was one of the first public/private light rail projects in the nation and the first design-build style light rail project for TriMet. The project started with a complex tie-in to TriMet’s busiest transit center and ended at a terminus station directly adjacent to the front entrance to the Portland International Airport. Both areas were extremely site constrained and had to remain open throughout construction.
