I have worked on a number of projects whilst at CO2Sense including the Farm Resource Efficiency Programme and the delivery of the Local Energy Assessment Fund. More recently I have supported the delivery of the CO2Sense Investment Fund and work towards ERDF programme compliance. During my time in this role, I worked as a team to successfully allocate £947,463 to businesses across the county.Local Energy Assessment FundI secured £147,000 of DECC funding through the Local Energy Assessment Fund (LEAF), that was used in five community-based renewable and energy efficiency groups. This role included overall project management to ensure all projects were delivered on time and to budget. I managed the allocation of funding to 70 farm businesses over six rounds of the scheme, hitting my targets and deadlines for all. This included awarding £896,500 worth of grant to eligible farm businesses, to help them save money and cut carbon emissions. On average, each business is now saving £3,000 and 11 tonnes of CO2 per year through the grant funding.

Prior to joining CO2Sense I spent 4 years developing and managing a national community paint reuse project sponsored by Dulux. This involved working with over 60 community organisations, developing partnerships with key stakeholders and expanding the network of projects.

I worked as a recycling officer for East Dorset District Council promoting and implementing recycling schemes (including a new organics collection), carrying out surveys and running waste reduction initiatives with local community groups.
