PAPI - Product and Process Innovation

Product and Process Innovation (PAPI) is a grants scheme managed by the University of York and is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It encourages innovation by awarding capital grants to small businesses to support the development of new products or services. 40% grants are available between £8,000 and £20,000. The scheme is open to Small or Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the North and West of Yorkshire which includes the following districts: • Richmondshire and Hambleton • Ryedale and Scarborough • York, Harrogate, Selby and Craven • Leeds and Bradford • Calderdale and Kirklees • Wakefield A Small or Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) is defined as having: • Fewer than 250 employees • Turnover less than €50 million • Balance sheet value less than €43 million The business needs to be engaged with one of the following sectors: • Advanced manufacturing • Bioscience and low carbon • Digital and creative media • Electronics • Food and drink • Health and life sciences The experienced team at PAPI can provide expert business support to help develop funding proposals, as well as guidance and advice through every step of the application process. The PAPI project has received £3,543,930 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
