About Vic Lord
Victor Lord is a Producer embracing the modern age of independent filmmaking with the entrepreneurial fervor of his Midwestern roots. Currently he is an Executive Producer at DYNMC Films, and also a partner at commercial production company DYNMC Creative. Vic’s passion for film grew out of a love of storytelling, and desire to build creative works with a team and his development was aided by a B.A. at Michigan State University. It was there that he produced his first feature film Some Are Born (2014) with an ambitious team of fearless college filmmakers, including writer/director Bret Miller who would become a career-long partner. Riding a wave of adventure, Victor spent time in Silicon Valley at a burgeoning tech startup, Handshake. He’d be instrumental in assisting the team early on our course to become a “unicorn company.” The parallels between tech startups and indie films informs much of his scrappy ethos to this day. In 2017, he began his current endeavors at DYNMC in Los Angeles California where he now resides with his wife, Amy and daughter Evie. After a producing a slew of short films, music videos, and commercials, and freelance 1st Assistant Directing feature films, Vic found his way back to feature film producing with Hayseed (2023).
