o Educate the public on issues concerning sea turtles and the effect of lights on their behaviors while nesting/hatching. o Monitor sea turtle nests at night to watch for disturbances caused by predators and other humans.o Monitor hatchlings so they make it safely to the water once hatched.o Keep records of any nest activities and hatchlings.

o Assist with Clearwater Marine Aquarium summer camp programs in the classroom and out on a boat in the local intercostal waterways.• Teach students ages 4-18 about local wild marine life and permanent residents at the aquarium.• Assist with preparing kids to go out on the water and with lifejackets on board the boat.• Supervise children while snorkeling around sandbars and small islands in the Clearwater intercostal waterways to ensure water safety.• Collect small local wildlife while in-water to educate campers about what is in local waters, such as; brittle stars, sea urchins, stone crabs, blue crabs, olive snails, conchs, and other invertebrates.
