About Viet Lê
I am a BDO professional with a broad software background. Throughout my career, I have had the fortune of working with many diverse and interesting people to build applications in multiple sectors and industries. My experience ranges from founding a company, to project management using the waterfall or agile methodology, to software development and program management. For the startup, my team and I developed two bioinformatics software applications: 1) for analyzing DNA and drug-protein interactions, and 2) for predicting osteoporosis from Dual X-Ray (DEXA) scans. After that, I got a chance to release two products for Microsoft and four for EMC|Documentum in the ECM space. From there, I dabbled in Web 2.0 and big data before managing a development team to create a back office admin software in the hedge fund industry. Today, I help small, medium and big businesses advance their R&D efforts through planning, preparing and claiming the government R&D incentive programs in Canada and the US. Moreover, by understanding my client’s IPs, I help them connect and grow through leveraging BDO’s global network of professionals, investors, and companies. My passions are learning about new technology and helping companies grow.
Listed skills include Agile Methodologies, Software Development, Scrum, Strategy, and 37 others.
