A global provider of enterprise-scale email and digital messaging programs.• Senior System Support Specialist responsible for digital news and financial solutions at Reuters & Dow Jones. • Integrated Voice/Data Technician installing the infrastructure for computer and media systems.Having spent my early years working as a voice and data technician, it was a logical step to move into IT. I spent the initial years at Reuters supporting their media and financial trading systems and then moved onto Dow Jones and then Lyris, an Email Service Provider. The roles at Dow Jones and later Lyris were both autonomous with me working in Australian and my managers in the US. This required the mastering of managerial skills alongside the technical. Both roles had me reporting to the Directors of Global Technical Support in the US. As the Lead technical support for Lyris Australia I specialise in Email messaging systems and deliverability. When Lyris was sold, I moved onto ITS Management. At ITS Management, I administrator their internal email infrastructure, in house messaging systems, mail security and their external email marketing campaigns.At Dow Jones, my responsibilities also expended to cover for the region’s Pre Sales IT consultant
