After completing my B.Tech, I worked as Junior Manager (Operation) and was involved in the erection and commissioning of Wire Rod Mill 2 of RINL- Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The following are my achievements. •Coordinated with Contract agencies and Design Consultant for Joint Inspection. •Resource Allocation Head at plant level for operational activities•Designated as the "Chief Training Coordinator" at the unit level.•Designed Technician Training Program and conducted Plant-level onsite training•Performed comprehensive mapping of ‘Coil Yard Storage Area’ and ‘Dispatch Section’ •Conceptualized Performance Appraisal System and distributed resources accordingly •Tested and Integrated the Thermal Model of Furnace (Level 2 automation with fuzzy logic control)•Integrated Safety Interlocks and Controls through PLC based Process Control system to ensure smooth functionality.•Coordinated with mill supplier extensively for process integration with technology while incorporating the best practices of the existing unit in the design of the new unit.•Spearheaded commissioning of “Furnace Heating & Handling systems” and “Roughing Mill”•Conceptualized and Standardized Standard Operating Procedures for the same.•Primary In-charge for Stand Preparation, a critical assembly section in Wire Rod Mill Unit
