Notable Projects - 1. Warehouse Labor Forecasting –– Build forecasting models to predict warehouse activities using time series models (ARIMA, prophet, xgboost).– Productionized this process in AWS using Lambda functions, S3 buckets, EventBridge jobs.2. Salesforce Analytics - - Set up data flows and workstreams for Salesforce data, previously unutilized in Veritiv.- Coordinated with data engineering and business analysts to ensure that data was available in Redshift as per urgent requests from senior leadership.- Wrote business logic to track opportunities in Salesforce, tie these opportunities to realized sales and predict future sales pipeline of Veritiv for the next year through SQL stored procedures.- Identified $1 billion in dead opportunities and that only 41% of Salesforce opportunity dollars were realized.

In this role, I perform a data driven long-term strategic analysis of Veritiv's supply chain network while managing complex ETL operations. Notable projects & responsibilities include - 1. Network Optimization – Worked on projects related to optimization of the company’s warehouse network. - Built optimization models to identify subsets of current warehouse network to minimize cost while keeping certain service constraints.- Built multiple regression models to predict LTL & Parcel rates as functions of distance travelled and weight used. Tested against data retrieved from the UPS website using an API.- Built models to perform greenfield analysis and identify new centers of demand as potential sites for future company warehouses through clustering. - Built several data visualization tools and dashboards to summarise above findings to senior management.Tools used: R, Python, SQL Server 2017, C-PLEX (OPL), Power BI, Power Maps2. Dashboards & Reporting – - Created vendor level scorecard reporting to be used by inventory & category management of Veritiv. Integrated 4 categories of metrics (Inventory, Demand, Purchasing & Financial metrics) into a single normalized Power BI data model. Built workflows to capture data, process & clean it and summarize it on a weekly updated dashboard.- Created a dashboard to monitor weekly COVID-19 cases and identify correlations with sales data.Tools used: Power BI, SQL Server 2017, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Python3. Database Server Migration & Upgrade –- Researched and identified issues faced during server migration from SQL Server 2008 to 2017.
