i have experience in shot balsting field and cut wire shot since 10 years . cut wire shot is use in automobile industry. gears manufacturer and spring manufacturer and pressure die casting industry are using cut wire shot and foundary forging. automobile component finishing by cut wire shot of shot blasting process. cut wire shot use for removal residual stress from component and finishing and roughness as per customer requirement they got from cut wire shot. each and every automobile industry use cut wire shot as and conditioned (llike round ball ) this is available in high carbon hardness 35 to 65 hrc. and in S. S grade 410 and 430 and 202 and 304 and 316 .
