After graduating from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with Distinction, Diploma in Multimedia, I started out as a Producer & Director at Apostrophe Films working with a team of international Film Directors and post-production crew. During my time at Apostrophe, I produced and directed numerous corporate videos, TV commercials and TV series for MediaCorp’s kids channel, OKTO. One of my most notable work is a short film for the Singapore Armed Forces titled; First 9 Weeks, which went on to win Silver Award in New York Festival.In 2011, I established Redbot Pictures. Apart from my managerial role with overseeing the day to day operations at the company, I deliver an all-in-one service for clients from numerous government sectors, private companies and creative agencies in the different aspects of video production. Today, companies like Panasonic, Singapore Pools and MediaCorp placed their trusts with Redbot Pictures and signed yearly contracts to create video contents on monthly basis.I have also mentored many interns from different institutions in Singapore; Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and James Cook University, Singapore. In 2022, I was invited by my alma mater, NAFA to assess and review Screen Media students’ final year video projects.
