Over the course of my career, I have handled numerous insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes for both insurance companies and reinsurance companies. Approximately 30 of those disputes have been litigated through a final arbitration hearing or trial.My reinsurance experience includes disputes arising under quota share, excess of loss, surety, marine, financial guaranty, property catastrophe, whole account, and retrocessional reinsurance agreements. My insurance experience includes large-scale coverage disputes involving long-tail exposures, such as asbestos and hazardous waste, as well as more typical property and casualty disputes arising under primary, umbrella, and excess policies.My experience also encompasses the handling of varied commercial litigation matters outside the insurance/reinsurance context.I am admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and in a number of federal district and appellate courts, including the Second and Third Circuits.
