It exemplified how theory meets practice and underscored the power of direct activism rooted in relationships and community engagement. I suppoprted the holistic development and flourishing of young people (ages 12-21), upholding a values-based practice while fostering a culture of creativity and reflective learning. My core responsibilities included:- participating in and leading drop-in sessions; - providing 1:1 support;- conducting weekly detached youth work sessions;- recording and evaluating engagements through the HCT Outcomes Database;- working in accordance with appropriate HCT policies and procedures, including care & protection; - and initiating and delivering Education, Employment, Training (EET) youth work with individuals and small groups to overcome barriers to EET and developing soft skills.

During my internship with the Dundee & Angus College for my final year at the University of Dundee:- I worked closely with students with additional learning needs;- I contributed to the launching of the After Hours Club addressing post-COVID isolation and building social capital, offering enriching experiences such as theater visits, museum trips, and collaborations with partner organizations;- I actively participated in Wellbeing activities- I conducted a small-scale research project exploring sustainable models for addressing the climate crisis in community education.

As a Support Worker during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I provided care and support to people with diverse needs, ensuring their well-being, dignity, and comfort at all times. My day-to-day duties included providing personal care with utmost sensitivity, diligently documenting clients' progress and needs, and facilitating daily activities tailored to individual requirements. My strong communication and interpersonal skills allowed me to build trusting relationships with clients, their families, and the broader care team.This journey as a Support Worker amidst the pressures of the pandemic, in a demanding and understaffed environment, taught me the significance of practicing self-care to continue providing compassionate support to others as well as reinforced the value of genuine human connections.

As a Retail Assistant for Smyths Toys UK Ltd on a temporary contract during the busy winter holidays, my role encompassed responsibilities, including shelf organization, assisting customers in finding toys, handling deliveries, and operating tills during peak hours. My dedication and performance led to the continuation of my contract at Smyths Toys.

I provided support to customers worldwide, predominantly through phone and email interactions. My key focus was on de-escalating situations and delivering tailored resolutions to meet diverse customer needs, thus achieving high customer satisfaction.

As my role evolved, I embraced new responsibilities that expanded my reach. I took on the task of engaging with new schools and individual students, forging meaningful partnerships to foster their participation in speech and debate tournaments. I facilitated the smooth integration of new teams into BEST's vibrant community. Guiding them through the process, I ensured that they felt supported and welcomed, allowing them to thrive and excel in their speech and debate journey.

I took charge of organizing tournaments, with one in particular under my main coordination. This involved coordination with numerous high schools across Bulgaria, hotels, students, teachers, and local businesses. Furthermore, I contributed to the growth of speech and debate coaching by assisting in the training of new coaches.

I worked closely with the management team, actively contributing to organizing tournaments, fundraisers, and community-building activities, as well as serving as a judge for speech events.

As a technical assistant at the ‘Culture and Education’ Department, I undertook diverse responsibilities reflecting the town's lively social life. From organizing cultural events to setting up stages for different occasions, I actively contributed to enriching Petrich's cultural scene. Additionally, I assisted with writing emails and providing essential translation support for various educational projects.
