Responsible for Finance, IT and Legal

Part of AMEA leadership team, which is responsible for envisioning and achieving business goals. Heading finance for Asia, Middle East and Africa region.Responsible for accounting & consolidation as per IGAAP and IFRS, tax compliance and planning, internal controls, fund management (portfolio of debt, working capital loans & ECBs), hedging of forex risk, manufacturing strategy & cost management and financial planning & analysis. Partner business, manufacturing and operations team to build business growth & expansion strategies and achieve the targets.

Responsible for -Financial accounting as per USGAAP and IGAAP and reporting from a legal entity perspective for internal and external bodies-Ensuring adequate internal controls and checks in all business operations -Implementation of JDE (ERP) system-Taxation: Complex Business & Tax issues,Tax Planning & compliance-Cash flow management and take care of funding requirement -Talent selection, development & retention

Orchestrating corporate strategy for all four business units and also setting up goals for next 5 yrs. Large level exercise to carry out market mapping, identifying strategic positioning of each business and recommending product, promotion, pricing and operational setup to achieve the goals. Ensure the implementation of strategy and course correction annuallyBusiness Re-structuring: Re-designing distribution model, organization structure, geographical re-alignment leading to profitability improvementManufacturing investment strategy: Presented to top management manufacturing financial model leading to brown field investment and making India export hub for Asia pacific region.

Responsible for Financial planning and analysis including designing of business KPI dashboard & MISMapping of productivity vis-à-vis market potential, Implementation of BI tool leading to automation of required reports and analysis etc.
