My journey to that led to the start of G&P Wellness in 1995 began when my father passed away suddenly from a heart attack in 1961. He wasn't overweight and was generally healthy, except he probably had a genetic predisposition to high cholesterol. He had also been a varsity athlete in college and in 1961 it was the general and now proven inaccurate theory that athletes died young from an enlarged heart.At my father's death I believed that the athlete heart link to heart disease was wrong and that the heart was a muscle and, if exercised would be healthier. So I began to run on the streets of Philadelphia, not far by today's standards, but far and often enough that others thought I had flipped.I continued a commitment to health and fitness, running my first of over 25 marathons in 1978. I shared the gift of fitness with Grace who ran her first of 20 marathons in 1983. We shared the gift of health and fitness with our three children who each became high school and college varsity athletes. Now each of our children have run a number of marathons.In 1995 we were introduced to Nikken, a wellness company, which opened the door to share the gift of health and fitness beyond our family.And the pinnacle of the opportunity to share the gift of health and fitness with many, many others was reached when we became an Associate representing Asea.With Asea we are making a living while making a difference. We help others invest in health, which is directly related to the wealth and well-being of their life.

Employed as a Marketing Rep selling computer systems to the garment and textile industry and, following that to large manufacturing companies in the in the Philadelphia, PA area. At the time in the late '60's I and fellow IBMers knew far more about computers than most of the population. Now most kids know more about computers than we did then.
