ALCATEL LUCENT INDIA LIMITED, AMBALA & CHANDIGADH | Enginner (May 2009 till date)Work Outline: Oversee multiple projects and technical teams managing installation, testing and turn-up of wide range of telecom equipments. Foster Alcatel ISA ES (L2 transport switch) configurations, issues and fault management of ETH circuits for TATA 3G project. Facilitate planning of ETH rings as per dual-iub plan provided to the customer. Fortify E1 and Ethernet circuit provisioning of TTSL Haryana Network. Instrumental in updating SW downloading in NM server as well as all operational nodes. Orchestrate Alcatel optics equipment I & C, NMS visibility and integration, and Acceptance test (1642em, 642emc, 1662smc, 1660SM, 1678mcc, 1626lm.1830 pss4/32). Successfully, coordinate with the TTSL, Unitech, Datacom, MS Vendor NSN, ALU management and PMO team.  Spearhead a team of 20+ for aggressive rollout and coordinate with four vendors.  Steer the process of resolving all Transmission (sdh, dwdm) and Ethernet related technical issues in the Haryana & Punjab circle. Hold multifaceted responsibilities like protection testing of ETH rings in Haryana Circle, NEs NMS visibility and update full transmission and project related database to TTSL, Unitech, NSN and Alcatel PMO team. Actively, provide technical support to field engineers during R4 to R5 upgrade, ETH configuration, troubleshooting, STM 64 link trough and Project Rollouts. Successfully, completed 1200 nodes I&C with 1150 NMS visibility in a span of 4 months.

During my tenure here I organised Alcatel optics equipment i & C, integration, and Acceptance test (1642em, 642emc, 1662smc, 1660SM, 1678mcc, 1626lm) in the northern region.I also hold a credit of linking of all BTS site to a ring or point to point topology through Microwave or fiber and handle NMS with help of O&M Engineer.My usual day looked like managing fault rectification of I&C, testing of sdh rings of alu nodes and managing up-dation of the ALU transmission project related database to customer and management.I facilitated streamlining of cross connection at TU12, VC12, TU3 & AU4 level as per costumer requirement and provisioning of cross connection at STM level, electrical E1 level & DS3 level.Channelled acceptance testing (SDH testing of multiplexers STM-1 up to STM-64 (E1, DS3, E3.Ethernet, gigabit, capacity testing, optical TX Power, Rx sensitivity, and all other testing.) is something that I also handled at Arya.
