Ran the European debt syndicate and equity sales desk for SBI Capital Markets.■ Instrumental in developing the FTSE-SBI Bond Index for Indian bonds.─ Was mentioned in the joint UK-India PM Joint Statement in 2016■ Successfully closed 10 international bond transactions for our key clients totalling nearly $7 billion. ─ Helped procure more than $1.4 billion of demand in all 8 transactions, whilst competing with established debt syndicates. ─ Key member of a pioneering $647 million covered bond trade for Suzlon Energy - a first of its kind for an Indian corporate. ─ Built our investor network from scratch, with strong relationships with around 20 key investors, out of a total network of nearly 100. ─ Part of the origination team for international bonds; Successfully pitched to a top-notch Indian corporate to mandate us for their international bond transaction.■ Marketed 16 equity capital markets transactions for Indian corporates totalling nearly $10 billion. ─ Helped procure more than $145 million of demand in all 16 transactions. ─ Helped SBI Capital Markets get a procurement for the first time in its equity products from the European market. ─ Optimised our FII network to reach almost all significant investors into India from the European region.■ Responsible for marketing our broker research on Indian corporates to the European institutional market. ─ Led the empanelment process for four FIIs■ Helped market and bring together leads for corporate finance transactions as well, as part of my role here.
