The Every Voice Fellowship was created to amplify important, often underheard or missing voices from the greater Essex County community. Impact100 Essex seeks Fellows with an interest in the organization and its work. The organization's mission is to engage women in collective giving, to provide transformative grants to organizations that serve historically excluded/underrepresented communities in Essex County, NJ, and to spur local non-profits to dream big – and succeed! Each year, Impact100 Essex awards a grant of $100,000 to support an important, innovative project managed by a local non-profit organization addressing the needs of historically underrepresented communities.

The mission of the Institute of Music for Children is to engage children and youth in artistic expression and the creative process. Guided by its vision of H.A.R.M.O.N.Y. – Helping Achieve Responsible, Motivated, Optimistic, Neighborhood Youth – the Institute is building a community of high-achieving citizens who are arts lovers and arts makers through professional instruction, mentorship, and family engagement.

The Collective is a curated convening for people of color in the greater New Jersey area, and beyond through virtual programming, who are committed to their professional growth, giving and receiving support, and networking with like-minded peers. We host a monthly session, including panel discussions, guest speakers, and workshops, all focused on professionals of color. The Collective was created by Co-Founders Tyneisha Gibbs, 144th and Vine, and Victoria Fernandez, Acting Executive Director of the Rutgers Institute for Ethical Leadership (IEL). We envision a network of equity-driven leaders of color, supported in deepening their equity analysis and leadership skills as agents of change in the nonprofit sector and through the executive pipeline.

Volunteer Co-Service Unit Manager (2015-2017), supporting Newark, NJ troop leaders and volunteers in service to Girl Scout movement. Works with regional council in developing and achieving goals for community. Secures and connects local movement to needed resources. Co-lead group of Newark Scouts in designing the "Newark Badge" for Newark's 350th Anniversary and hosting over 200 scouts from around NJ for a day of touring Newark to earn the badge (2016). The badge is one of 25 council's own badges approved by GSUSA. Other Newark roles include Awards Manager (2016-2017) and Training Manager (2014-2016). Previous Girl Scout experience as Paterson Co-Leader/Leader (2005-2006) as adult; Washington Rock Girl Scout Council Trainer, Training Board Member, and Planning Board Girl Liaison as youth.

Manages all finances and grant activities for the institute, while working closely with the Institute's Director/Research Director Joanne Ciulla on general fundraising and earned income strategies for the independently-funded research center. Strategically partners with community entities and expands offerings to meet the needs of constituents. Oversees the development of curriculum and execution of all leadership development and support programs for nonprofit leaders. Leads marketing, communications, and social media initiatives for the Institute.

Oversaw the curriculum and execution of all leadership development and support programs for nonprofit emerging leaders and executives, including the Victoria Emerging Leaders Program (VELP) and the pilot national Cultural and Ethnic Arts Executive Leadership Program (CEA) for diverse leaders. Managed marketing and social media for all Institute initiatives.

Volunteered to support the work of GlassRoots and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance as Board of Trustees member. GlassRoots is a nonprofit glass art hotshop and studio that uses molten glass as a tool for teaching life lessons to children and adults. Chair of the Events Committee 2016- 2017, responsible for leading board planning and execution of fundraising and social activities in conjunction with organization leadership, including the 2016 15th Anniversary Gala.

Multi-dimensional position responsible for management of WBGO’s education and local community outreach initiatives including audience development for the WBGO Free Kids Jazz Concert Series, WBGO Kids Jazz @Play, the WBGO Newark Community Arts Calendar, and PSA catalog.

Instructor of Spring 2015 undergraduate-level course, “The Arts and Culture of Public Service;” a look at the arts and cultural organizations of the public sector, managerial issues they face, and how the arts can be utilized as a tool for social change.

Served as a professional resource for organizations to contract for advisement, development, and execution in multiple areas of non-profit administration including training, program development, special events, and communications.

Established and directed a comprehensive after-school enrichment program of 240, K-8 students to strengthen local children and families at PS 5 in diverse, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural Paterson, NJ.

Educated 90 Paterson students from grades 4 through 8 in a comprehensive art program, while fulfilling various administrative functions based on program needs for a 200 student NJAfter3 program, such as training staff, designing curriculum, and planning special events.

Oversaw marketing and public relations for a campus community service office that served over 500 students and 30 community agencies per academic year. Increased student participation in volunteerism and civic engagement via multiple service projects and large scale special events.
