The courses were entirely field based moving expeditions from one to three months in length. Envisioning and constructing a Micro Brewery, I served as General Manager / proprietor for 4 years then as President / proprietor of the corporation until I sold my proprietary interest in 1999. The Sunday River Brewing Co. was a seven barrel brew house with two dinning rooms that provided full restaurant service to over 200 seats. The staff consisted of as many as 60 employees in five departments. The business grew into a network of 3 brewpubs in Maine and New Hampshire. I developed an event managment program as well as a hospitality industry consulting division under the business umbrella. The Sunday River Brewing Company continues to thrive at the base of Maine’s finest ski resort.
