I am a graduate of the Master's of Science in Business Analytics program at the Wake Forest University School of Business. At Wake, I learned a variety of data analysis techniques and gained exposure to a number of analytics tools. I learned how to manage and contribute to an analytical consulting project with a major national company. I also honed my skills in the effective presentation of data analysis and insights to audiences of different experience levels. As an undergraduate, I studied Math and Economics at Furman University. I was exposed to incredible professors who helped spur my passion for analytics. During my time at Furman, I was tasked with performing an independent data analysis research project. I researched the effects of household income on the survival rates of various diseases. I gathered, cleaned, and analyzed data from several sources from every county in the United States for this project.For four years, I was a member of Furman University's Division 1 football team. During this time, I learned valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, time management, and the importance of having a strong work ethic.I have now begun building my career as a data analyst, and I couldn’t be happier with my career choice. I love working on complex problems with my skilled teammates and senior leaders and utilizing data to help make smarter decisions.
