1. Supervises the updating of the spectrum frequency plan (tables & chart) according to ITU-R Regulations as well as the national policy.2. Supervises the preparation of the channelization plans used for frequency assignments.3. Manages the coordination meetings with the national authorities regarding the usage of the radio spectrum.4. Supervises the technical/financial studies to evacuate required frequency bands for new radio services.5. Supervises the preparations for national agreements or evacuation contracts. 6. Supervises the follow-up of the evacuation contracts execution.7. Supervises the delivering of the evacuated radio spectrum bands to the new users.8. Supervises the developing and enhancing the regulations for maritime, aeronautical, terrestrial and satellite radio services.9. Supervises the setup, the operation and the administration of the automated spectrum management system.10. Supervises the preparations for any international agreements. Supervises input reports to the committee stating technical requirements for the new radio technologies.11. Supervises radio spectrum assignments and database management. 12. Supervises the preparations for the monthly meeting of the spectrum management committee.13. Follow up the committee decrees concerning the technical regulations of radio spectrum usage in Egypt on NTRA website.14. Supervises statistical studies that reflect the allocated frequencies and their users with physical locations.15. Participates and interacts with the annual Arab meeting for Frequency spectrum team.16. Supervising the preparation for the related events in the ITU (WRC – CPM – Study groups - …etc)17. Participates and interacts with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) activities.
