I am currently employed as the Security Supervisor at the Capricorn Hotel. Primary task is the administration and operation of the overall Security Team.

Due to the current global economic crisis there has been a slowdown in the production of the various metals produced at the refinery. As a result, the company has ceased all dredging operations until further notice. Dredge operators are employed on site as Level 3 operators (Industrial Cleaners).

Re-enlisted in 1990 as an Infantry soldier serving approx 14 years in the First Battalion of the Royal Australia Regiment (1RAR) or as known by the soldiers who served in this unit " The big Blue One". In the 14 years served with the unit I saw active service in Somalia 1993, Ops Solace & East Timor 2000, Ops Tanager as the Bravo Company 6 Platoon Sergeant. Retired from the ADF in 2005 at the rank of Company Sergeant Major Class Two (CSM). During time in service I was the recipient of the following Awards & Medals;1. Australia Active Service Medal (AASM), United Nations Medal & Infantry Combat Badge for active service in Somalia 1993, Ops Solace.2. AASM clasp, Aust Service Medal (ASM) for active service in East Timor 1999 - 2000, Ops Tanager.3. Australia Day Medal issued 26 Jan 2000 for exemplary conduct as a Military Unarmed Combat Senior Instructor.
