I am now retired. My background in the social sciences has allowed me to work across many substantive areas including public health, housing policy, education and sociology. I also have a strong background in statistical training and teaching.I was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong for several years with stints in the Australian Health Services Research Institute, the Population, Wellbeing and Environment Research Lab (PowerLab) and the National Institute for Applied Statistics Research Australia. Previously, I was a Principal Methodologist at Statistics New Zealand, the Research Director at the Center for Community Capitalsim at the University of North Carolina and the Health Data Analyst at the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at the University of North Carolina.
