👋🏽 Hi! 👋🏽I'm a security engineer with a passion for identifying risks and vulnerabilities and diving into code and configuration to identify how they occur.In 2023 I graduated with a Masters degree in computer science as well as computer and network security at Stanford University. Prior to starting my graduate studies, I was a student at City College of San Francisco, where I studied computer science and cybersecurity. I also have several years of experience in network engineering, systems administration, and customer support. Some of my academic interests include the intersection of cybersecurity with trust and safety research, in addition to embedded systems engineering and cloud infrastructure. At Stanford I've had the opportunity to contribute to on-campus bug bounty programs, compete as a finalist in international cybersecurity competitions, and build everything from an end-to-end encrypted chat client to a virtual memory module for the Raspberry Pi. I've also had the privilege of working as a technical research assistant at the Stanford Internet Observatory, where I developed tooling and infrastructure used to track the spread of narratives across social media platforms in the 2022 midterm elections. My biggest motivation is a desire to learn, grow, and gain a deeper understanding of how things work. I love to take on new challenges, and I'm thrilled to be part of an industry where there are so many opportunities to learn.
