I have an academic background (Master's degree from the University of São Paulo and Ph.D. from the Royal Holloway University of London) in Cryptography, with expertise in the design of cryptographic algorithms.I worked from 2009 to 2014 in the Brazilian Navy as Head of a team responsible for designing State Cryptographic Algorithms, at the Center for Naval Systems Analysis.During more than 29 years of military service, I held various positions related to personnel leadership.After requesting my retirement in the Navy, in 2014, I worked as a cryptography consultant in projects of the National Network for Information Security and Cryptography (RENASIC) and from 2016 to 2021 I was hired to work on the Software Defined Radio Project (RDS) of the Ministry of Defense, where I provided design activities for cryptographic algorithms and consultancy in Cryptography.Since September 2021, I joined Kryptus Segurança da Informação S.A. as Head of Cryptology, where I provide strategic Cryptography services, acting as needed in the demands of internal and external consulting on Cryptography topics, developing cryptographic algorithms, providing related training and supporting commercial demands when necessary, including external visits aimed at mapping processes and customer requirements.My main achievements in my career were the design of several State cryptographic algorithms, all with software registration at the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI).Since 2017 I have been delving into Post-Quantum Cryptography, following and studying the algorithms that participate in the NIST Post-Quantum Algorithm standardization process.What sets me apart from other professionals in my field lies in my expertise in designing cryptographic algorithms (in particular, block ciphers) and in my knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography, which will soon be the future of world Cryptography.
