I both lead and participate in multiple projects aiming to develop sustainable, economic and energy efficient processes for biorefineries and conventional pulp and paper production. My participation in the projects mainly involves to do process simulation and techno-economic evaluation as well as to be responsible for budget and delivery. The projects are either client-based or publicly funded with multiple partners. The topics of the projects I take part of typically, but not exclusively, relates to: --> Water, chemicals and energy reductions in kraft pulp mills--> Trouble-shooting for kraft pulp mills--> Evaluations of standalone and/or integrated novel biorefinery processes e.g. lignin extraction, biofuel production, textile recycling/production, biobased materials and chemicals etc.
